He leads below-Partner level search assignments for private equity funds and alternative asset managers including General Partners, Limited Partners, Multi-Strategy Asset Managers, and their Portfolio Companies.

Mike’s functional areas of expertise include the placement of investment professionals, investor relations, value creation, deal origination and strategic finance officers.

He spends time identifying, assessing, and recruiting professionals across Private Equity, Private Debt, Distressed Debt, Special situations, Infrastructure/ Real Assets,  Venture Capital, Secondaries, and GP Stakes/Financing.

In addition to completing search mandates for GPs across the Private Markets, he works closely with the portfolio companies of his clients and has completed numerous search assignments placing Strategic M&A professionals into PE-backed companies at all stages of the investment cycle. Typical roles placed include M&A, Corporate Development, Strategy & Acquisitions.

He also has extensive experience completing search mandates for multi-national bulge bracket, middle market, large cap advisory and premier boutique investment banking clients, with specific expertise across product & coverage investment banking; primarily M&A, Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mike worked at a global executive search firm and lead a small team focused on recruiting investment professionals and m&a deal professionals for Investment Banks and Private Equity funds.

Mike holds two Bachelor degrees in Political Science & English Literature from the University of Rhode Island.
