Nirmala is passionate about helping clients build future-ready talent acquisition capabilities that create lasting business value. She works closely with senior business and HR leaders to simplify complex talent challenges, align talent strategy with business priorities, and design scalable operating models that improve hiring outcomes and strengthen workforce capability. Her collaborative leadership style, combined with deep expertise in talent intelligence, sourcing innovation, and workforce transformation, helps organizations accelerate growth and navigate change with confidence.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Nirmala held senior leadership roles with Infosys, Accenture, Standard Chartered Bank, and EY Global Delivery Services (GDS), leading startup, turnaround, and large-scale talent transformation initiatives.Throughout her career, she has established Global Capability Centres (GCCs), recruitment hubs, leadership research functions, and Global Sourcing Centres of Excellence to build scalable, high-performing talent organizations. At EY GDS, she built and scaled the Global Sourcing Centre of Excellence, doubling sourcing capability within three years before leading Global Tax Recruitment across Europe and Asia. She has led teams of more than 300 professionals, delivering high-volume, specialist, and executive hiring while fostering inclusive, high-performing teams that create sustainable business impact.

Nirmala holds a Post Graduate in Human Resource Management (CHRO) from XLRI Jamshedpur and is a SHRM-certified HR professional. She is also an ICF-trained leadership coach with expertise in coaching and talent development. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, Bengali, and Tamil.
