Senior Partner, Health Advisory

Opal Greenway is a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry focused primarily on the strategic needs of healthcare service providers.

For over a decade, Opal has focused on assisting physicians, hospitals, and health systems with provider strategy, engagement, and alignment. Her advisory practice addresses the strategic and operational needs in physician practices, ambulatory development, compensation, valuations, capital planning, transactions, and regulatory compliance.

Opal is an expert at facilitating discussions between medical staff, clinician partners, and C-suite executives to optimize their alignment, including defining and assessing the value and risks of different initiatives.

She serves as a preceptor for the National Rural Health Association in multiple of their programs, including the Rural CMO, Rural Health Care Leader program, and APP Leadership programs.

Opal is called upon as an expert witness and advisor by both health systems and providers for litigation support, community hearings, and regulatory processes. As a member of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), Opal provides fair market value opinion supporting regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Opal spent over 10 years as an established leader in physician strategic planning and advancement for Stroudwater in Nashville, TN. She has also worked at multiple, specialized healthcare consulting firms including CBIZ, Ziegler, and Health Strategy Partners, LCC.

Opal also serves on the board of Humanility, a not-for-profit dedicated to rescuing the “street children” of the Philippines and unlocking their potential via providing a home, counseling, education.

Ms. Greenway got her Bachelor of Arts in English and Law & Society at Cornell University. She then attained her JD and Masters of Business Administration at the University of Alabama School of Law.
