Phillip Duffy

Principal, Global Biotechnology & Co-Lead, R&D & AI Centre of Excellence

Phillip Duffy is a Principal (Partner) based in Korn Ferry’s Philadelphia & New York City Offices. 

Since 2013, he has been a member of the Firm’s Global Biotechnology Practice and Co-Leads the Korn Ferry R&D and AI Innovation Center of Excellence. He specializes in partnering with biotechnology, MedTech, pharma, and other life science and innovation  focused companies and organizations (including non-profit and trade associations); along with recruitment of teams for blue chip Venture Capital/Private Equity funds.

Mr. Duffy’s primary focus is on Executive Life Science Recruitment (with expertise in adjacencies (academia, and industrial) with focal points on Board, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating, Research & Development, Investment, and other key leadership related engagements.

Mr. Duffy joined Korn Ferry leading research strategy efforts across multiple life science verticals. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University. Mr. Duffy currently serves on the Life Science Cares Philadelphia Board of Advisors, Texas Tech Rawls College of Business Recent Alumni Board, and the Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square Church of the Holy Trinity Preservation Board. He is a former member of the Susan G. Komen Board of Directors.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Duffy worked at Merrill Lynch in Dallas, Texas.
