Rayna Petikas is a Principal with Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Much of her career has been spent evaluating individuals for positions where the stakes are unusually high—from elite military selection environments to senior leadership roles where judgment, resilience, and performance under pressure are critical to success.
Her work draws on psychological assessment, interviewing, behavioral evaluation, and performance data to provide organizations with clear, evidence-based perspectives on leadership readiness, potential, and risk. She is particularly skilled at synthesizing multiple sources of information into clear recommendations for selection, succession, and leadership development decisions.
Before joining Korn Ferry, Rayna served on active duty in the United States Navy, including as Deputy Director of Performance Psychology for a Tier 1 Navy SEAL unit.
She served as a subject matter expert for leadership assessment programs, partnered with elite teams to evaluate leadership potential and performance under pressure, directed performance analytics efforts examining two decades of operational data, and delivered developmental feedback to leaders at all levels to support growth and readiness.
Rayna founded her own consulting and coaching practice and has served as a consulting psychologist to organizations focused on leadership assessment, talent evaluation, and human performance. Her work has spanned defense, public safety, intelligence, healthcare, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, professional services, and other specialized sectors.
She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Wichita State University and completed Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth’s Transition to Business program. Rayna is a Board-Certified Psychologist (ABPP) and a Board-Certified Coach (BCC).
