Senior Principal

Reena Desai is a Senior Principal for Korn Ferry Advisory, based in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Ms Desai blends two decades of experience in HR leadership roles in global organizations with leadership and talent consulting experience in delivering high impact leadership and transformation solutions to her clients. 

She has designed sustainable talent and succession frameworks aligned to the business strategy, led programs in the areas of executive assessments, leadership development, diversity, equity and inclusion, selection systems design, sales capability development, agile performance management, cultural and digital transformation.

Ms Desai is an experienced facilitator and C-suite coach and has worked with clients in maximising their leadership potential and business effectiveness by gaining greater self-awareness and developing their empathy and critical thinking skills. She leads the enablement for Korn Ferry’s DEI portfolio in APAC.

Ms Desai has worked for clients across Asia, the Middle East and North America in technology, financial services, manufacturing, healthcare, and retail industries. 

Before joining Korn Ferry, she worked with DDI across executive succession, assessment, leadership development and talent management. In her industry roles, Ms Desai has led HR for SAP and Checkpoint Systems in India, held HR and talent leadership roles for IBM in South Asia, and group-wide talent management role at AIA. 

Ms Desai is a professional certified coach (PCC) with the International Coach Federation. She holds a master’s degree in human resources from the University of Pune. Ms Desai has lived and worked in Mumbai, Bangalore, Dubai and Hong Kong. She speaks fluent English, Hindi and Gujrati.
