




Rich Meiklejohn is a Senior Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s Advisory practice with more than 30 years of leadership, consulting, and talent advisory experience across the Asia Pacific region. He advises boards, CEOs, and senior leadership teams of multinational corporations (MNCs), regional organizations, and government-linked companies (GLCs) on succession, executive assessment and coaching, and leadership team effectiveness.
Rich works closely with executive teams to strengthen leadership capability, improve alignment, and ensure organizations are equipped to execute strategy and sustain long-term performance. His work often focuses on helping executive teams enhance decision-making, navigate leadership transitions, and build stronger leadership pipelines in complex and rapidly evolving markets.
A distinctive aspect of Rich’s work is his ability to translate leadership and team effectiveness into tangible business results. Drawing on his experience as both an advisor and a business leader, he helps CEOs ensure that talent and leadership are fully aligned with business strategy to drive sustainable performance.
He has extensive experience advising senior leaders across the banking and financial services, industrial, energy, technology, consumer goods, and hospitality sectors throughout Southeast Asia and the broader Asia Pacific region.
Before joining Korn Ferry, Rich held senior leadership roles across the Asia Pacific in global digital and professional services organizations. These include serving as Vice President and General Manager (VP/GM) for Asia Pacific at Hootsuite and holding regional leadership positions with IBM/Cognos and eGain. Earlier in his career, he was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles and a Senior Consultant at PwC. This combination of advisory and operational leadership experience enables him to bring practical insights into leadership performance, organizational culture, and the realities of leading complex regional businesses.
Originally from Vancouver, Canada, Rich began his career in Bangkok and has lived and worked across the region, including Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Sydney, and Dubai. He brings a deep regional perspective and extensive cross-cultural experience to his work with leadership teams across the Asia Pacific.
