As National Practice Director, Scott works with Patina’s team to assist Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies as they address a range of key business needs. Scott is an Operating Executive with more than 35 years of “on the ground” skills. He has extensive experience in Private Equity Operations, M&A, Global Expansion, Channel and New Product Development. He is a growth-focused leader with a proven track record of portfolio company optimization.

Among his responsibilities are providing pre-deal (diligence, industry investment expertise, board members) and post-deal (interim, interim-to-hire, full-time executive search and on-demand operating talent) support for Private Equity firms and their portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Patina, Scott spent six years at Baird Capital as full-time Operating Partner, where he served as Executive Chairman of the Board at SloanLED and Kason Corporation. Scott currently serves on the Reliance Label Solutions and Identco Board of Directors for Mason Wells. Prior to Baird Capital, Scott was at Brady Corporation for more than 25 years in several Senor Executive roles.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
