Shah brings over a decade of leadership and consulting experience to the table, working with both public and private organizations.

His strength lies in his ability to develop strong business strategies, improve operations, and build effective partnerships across sectors. This ability has helped create meaningful impacts and foster strategic relationships, including joint ventures and licensing opportunities.

As the former CEO of I Synergy Group Limited, an Australian publicly listed company, Shah led a major transformation that not only improved the business model but also increased revenues significantly. This transformation led to a 60% reduction in operating and capital costs, revitalized the brand, and opened up new revenue streams, expanding the company's market presence.

In his role at Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDeC) as Head of Fintech & Islamic Digital Economy (IDE), Shah launched impactful programs for local tech start-ups. His achievements include starting Malaysia’s first regulator-supported Fintech hub, 'Orbit', and managing start-up incubators in partnership with UNCDF and global venture-building platforms. He also played a role in developing policies with Bank Negara Malaysia and the World Bank Group.

Currently, Shah serves on several advisory panels for start-ups and development organizations, focusing on fundraising, building capacity, and expanding market access. He is recognized for his insights into digital advocacy, ecosystem development, and making a positive impact. Shah is also a Distinguished Industry Fellow at the Institute of Sustainable Growth and Urban Development at the University Utara Malaysia.

Shah holds a Master's in Islamic Finance from INCEIF and is finishing his Doctorate in Business Administration, with a focus on Innovation and Sustainability, at Othman Yeop Abdullah Graduate School of Business UUM.
