Taps Ganguly

Taps is a Senior Principal in the People Analytics team at Korn Ferry. 

Taps is a professional offering rare technical skills in both statistical modelling and machine learning, with an equally deep passion for empowering clients to realise their best. She is particularly good at designing data-driven solutions to complex business challenges and offering actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Taps has a flair for making complex data concepts accessible, helping clients make informed and confident choices. Accordingly, her commitment to lifelong learning, knowledge-sharing, and team mentorship secures clients and teams with the best possible experience to outperform their goals and navigate a rapidly changing landscape.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Taps held senior positions that empowered her to solve key business and research problems by applying advanced statistical and machine-learning techniques. First working in academia on pioneering studies of psychiatric disorders, she moved into industry to develop predictive models of mental health, focusing on neurodegenerative diseases. Since then, Taps has been leading teams in consultancy and research environments on talent management, organisational behaviour, and people analytics.

She holds a PhD in Applied Statistics, a Master's in Decision Modelling, is a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, an elected member of the Global Association of Risk Professionals and an elected fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its applications. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Bengali, Taps drives a global perspective to deliver impactful outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
