In his role, Trey is responsible for business development, client relationship management, and executing strategic executive searches. He partners closely with senior client leaders, working to identify, engage, and place high-impact executives within health systems, hospitals, health plans, and digital health organizations. Prior to Korn Ferry, Trey served as Director of Executive Search at Gibson Consultants, where he spearheaded the development of a new market segment, now the firm’s most profitable business line. He managed the full recruitment lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closing, and cultivated lasting relationships with executive leaders in healthcare.
Before entering the executive search field, Trey gained valuable healthcare operations experience as an Operations Analyst at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. There, he supported strategic initiatives such as business proposals for new medical equipment acquisitions, conducted data analysis to improve hospital efficiency, and applied LEAN methodologies to enhance operations.
Trey holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He also holds a LEAN Healthcare Green Belt Certification, reinforcing his expertise in process improvement and operational efficiency.
