Senior Client Partner, Head of Global Consumer Consulting

Wil Schoenmakers leads Korn Ferry’s global Consulting business for Consumer, specialising in organisational and cultural transformation, with functional expertise in Marketing, Supply Chain, Innovation, Legal and Sustainability.  

Wil has extensive experience in supporting global organisations in defining and delivering a significant and new strategic direction based on changes in consumer/customer perception, legislation, global trends or market dynamics. Wil has been instrumental in delivering these strategic pivots from a process, culture and organisational model point of view.

Wil works closely with the leadership teams of many global clients, including P&G, Unilever, Coca Cola, Danone, Mondelez and Diageo among others to find the best way to navigate their complex organisations as part of a total transformation and support the executive team to drive and guide such transformation.

Wil is a coach and mentor to a number of his senior clients around the world and has built a number of informal networks between his clients in non-competing sectors.

Prior to Korn Ferry Wil served as the global head of consumer, retail, and manufacturing at a leading consulting firm for more than 15 years. Wil’s initial 12 year career was with Procter & Gamble based in the UK, Cincinnati (US) and Kobe (Japan).

Wil holds a Master of Science from of Technology in Delft, Netherlands and serves on the Advisory Board of a number of large global consumer organizations as well as starts ups.
