Determining if You Have Local Admin Rights in Windows 7

To determine if you have local administrator rights:

• In Windows 7
  • Select the Start menu on the lower left of the screen.
  • Select Control Panel.If you are an administrator, you see a selection named User Accounts. If you are not an administrator, you see a selection named User Accounts And Family Safety.
