S&P 500: 2025 Findings and Trends

Our annual look at proxy disclosures shows boards adopting more comprehensive evaluations and greater transparency.

Highlights from the report:

  • 98% of organizations disclose their board evaluation practices
  • Just over half (55%) evaluate individual directors
  • 38% use a third-party facilitator, the highest level in five years
  • Only 18% disclose making changes after their evaluation
