Known as the Miami of Vietnam, Da Nang is emerging as Southeast Asia’s next global business hub, bringing together manufacturing, high tech, and logistics. The country’s fourth-largest city aims to have its digital economy account for 40 percent of GRDP by 2030, with a large data center slated to be operational within the year. At least 70 international businesses have signed on to join the Da Nang semiconductor ecosystem. But as the coastal city evolves from a resort town into a serious economic player, it’s intentionally working to preserve the local lifestyle that has long drawn digital nomads with its white-sand beaches, surrounding mountains, and reasonable cost of living.
The iconic Dragon Bridge breathes fire and water in the evenings every Saturday and Sunday.

Da Nang is known for its street food, in particular turmeric noodles, called mi quang, and crispy pancakes, or banh xeo.
The city of about 1 million residents is flanked by the Marble Mountains, five limestone peaks harboring hidden Buddhist shrines and caves.
The Vietnam International Financial Centre launched in Da Nang this year, orienting the region as a global hub for innovation, digital technology, and sustainable finance.
