Alessandra Bassetti

Alessandra Bassetti is a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry, based in the firm’s Milan office, and a member of the Global Consumer Market Practice.

With nearly 30 years of executive search experience, she advises leading consumer and retail organizations on complex domestic and, predominantly, international and cross-border leadership appointments. She partners with clients on high-stakes leadership hires – including CEOs, Managing Directors, and General Managers – as well as a broad range of C-suite leaders across retail and commercial functions, merchandising, product, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, marketing and communications, HR, legal, and finance.

Passionate about entrepreneurial ventures, Alessandra has a strong focus on family business advisory, working primarily with large listed and private groups. Her client portfolio also includes multinational corporations, mid-cap companies, and private equity-backed portfolio businesses. A key pillar of her work is supporting organizations in building meaningful, real-world diversity.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Alessandra was a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles, where she served as Managing Partner for Italy and co-led the European Women Inclusion Network.

She holds a degree in Russian Literature and a postgraduate qualification in International Relations. She is fluent in Italian and English, with basic working knowledge of Spanish and Russian.
