Caroline Thompson, PMP is a Principal in the Philadelphia office of Korn Ferry, where she is a member of the firm’s Academic Practice and Healthcare Services Practice.
Ms. Thompson brings over 20 years of broad executive-level healthcare project, talent, and financial management success to Korn Ferry. Leveraging her professional experience with senior executives and physician leaders, she specializes in identifying C-Suite, Vice Presidents, Deans, Chairs, and other physician and physician scientist leaders for schools of medicine, medical centers, non-profit and multi-hospital health systems, research institutes, and higher education. Her approach is characterized by a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within the healthcare sector, enabling her to empower clients to exceed their potential through strategic talent acquisition and leadership development.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Thompson collaborated with the senior leadership of a prominent New York City academic medical school and health system, contributing to the development and implementation of several strategic system-level initiatives.
Ms. Thompson also served in a director-level role as the Assistant to the President and Assistant Board Secretary of St. Luke’s Cornwall Health System.
There, she was instrumental in forming and an officer of Hudson Health Partners, LLC, a controlled joint venture that linked four Hudson Valley health systems, consisting of nine hospitals with a combined revenue of $1 Billion, into a single, non- asset merged corporation focused on physician- centric care management improvements and continuum of care coordination pre- and post- hospital. Her early career was spent as a business manager for a privately held $2 Million civil engineering firm.
Ms. Thompson is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration, with a specialization in Leadership from the University of South Florida. She holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management and Administration from Mount St.
Mary College and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
