Chris Knight is a Managing Consultant within Korn Ferry’s North America Professional Search team and a specialist in our Accounting and Finance Center of Excellence where he works out of our Boston, MA office.
After earning a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Bristol and adding an MBA from Babson College whist working full-time, Chris set about using his knowledge of accounting and finance and successfully applied it to recruitment. For the past 11 years, he has work hard to master the placements of Chief Financial Officers, Chief Accounting Officers, Vice Presidents of Finance, Controllers and more in his previous role as Partner for another Global Executive Search Firm.
On the client side, Chris has worked hand-in-hand with a variety of companies; publicly traded, privately-held, private equity-backed, pre-IPO and Inc. 5000 companies on assignments ranging from traditional performance-driven profiles to finding candidates with fresh perspectives to change things up. Chris has had a specialty focus placing finance leaders in manufacturing, construction, real estate, engineering, technology sectors to name but a few.
He finds motivation in helping companies not only with individual placements but also with over-arching executive hiring strategies. His dedication and commitment to the big picture are clear and his modus operandi is to truly get to know both clients and candidates, whether it’s a regional, national or global hire.
Out of the office, is an avid cyclist, soccer player, skier and golfer, but gets the most satisfaction spending time with his wife and two young boys and whenever possible during the year, visiting family in the UK and Ireland.
