Claudia Pici Morris focuses exclusively on board and CEO advisory engagements as a member of the Global Board and CEO Succession Practice based in New York.

A recognized governance expert with over 25 years working with Boards, Claudia advises clients across industries on, Board Succession Planning, CEO Succession and Board Effectiveness engagements.

Claudia has conducted more than 1000 board director and CEO searches, governance consulting engagements, including board evaluations, activist defense, spin-out boards, composition analysis and benchmarking, and CEO and C-Suite leadership succession.

As a strategic advisor, she founded and led high impact governance chair networks, where she helped board leaders share and stay ahead of business and governance trends. 

Additionally, she is a recognized thought-leader having authored several publications on board composition and effectiveness, including “How Boards Can Accelerate Their Learning Curve in AI and Cybersecurity” (2023), “Are Boards and CEOs Ready to Navigate This Era of Global Disruption? What Worked Before Won't Cut It.” (2023), and “Corporate DE&I Oversight: Six Questions for Boards” (2021).

She started her career in management consulting with Booz Allen Hamilton and AT Kearney.

Claudia is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Society of Corporate Secretaries. She also served on the St. Elizabeth Seton Children’s Foundation Board of Directors.

She has a master's degree from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Fordham University.
