Dan Stech serves as an advisor across a range of health industry segments in matters involving physician engagement, strategy, compensation, and compliance.
He leverages over 30 years of achievement in health policy, management, and consulting to help clients create sustainable provider solutions. He has significant experience designing and implementing physician compensation programs focused on attracting and retaining critical medical expertise while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Dan is known for his collaborative approach with clients helping elevate their internal capabilities and capacity for success. This quality has allowed him to develop and maintain many long- term professional relationships.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Dan held partner and principal positions with other advisory and valuation firms in which he was instrumental in expanding service offerings, growing client bases, and developing new consulting professionals.
He began his career as a legislative staffer for a Member of Congress handling all issues related to healthcare reform, regulation, and the Medicare and Medicaid programs. Following his time on Capitol Hill, he held leadership positions with the Medical Group Management Association where his work helped establish the organization as a leading data source on physician compensation and performance.
He is a regular speaker for client boards and serves as faculty for industry organizations such as the American Association of Provider Compensation Professionals, American Health Law Association, Health Care Compliance Association, and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Benedictine College in Atchison, KS, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Marymount University in Arlington, VA.
