David Gibbons

There he leads Korn Ferry’s Transformational Leadership practice helping clients execute on their strategy through the development of enterprise-wide leadership capabilities.

In this practice he specializes in executive leadership development, CEO succession and talent strategy. He focuses on the technology, financial and resource sectors where he has consulted with and many of the top firms globally in these markets.

Mr. Gibbons is also a globally recognized thought leader on Enterprise Leadership, Dominant Logic and Self Disruption. He has delivered keynote speeches on these and other current leadership topics around the world.

Mr. Gibbons joined Korn Ferry from a boutique leadership development firm, where he was a partner. There he worked with clients in North and South America building and delivering large-scale leadership development programs focused on driving strategic growth for their businesses.

Earlier, Mr. Gibbons led the Executive Education division of the Beedie School of Business at Simon Fraser University.

Mr. Gibbons holds a master’s degree in business administration and has pursued doctoral studies in strategic decision making.

A dedicated educator, Mr. Gibbons also teaches for the Simon Fraser University Beedie School of Business and University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business in their master’s and executive programs.
