David Mayfield, Ph.D. provides talent assessment and leadership succession and development consulting at Korn Ferry. 

He is an expert in “people measurement” systems ranging from enterprise Human Resources program management to building customized assessments for key positions and employee segments.

David’s 25+ year career includes practicing I/O Psychology within Fortune 100 companies and consulting. He has worked in the manufacturing, retail, transportation, health sciences, and consulting industries including Georgia-Pacific, The Home Depot, UPS, 3M.

David is most passionate about customizing and integrating multiple I/O psychology tools and strategies to craft highly effective talent solutions. 

David earned a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Georgia in 2000.  He is an active member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
