Harassment at (Remote) Work
Two new surveys indicate workplace harassment rose during the pandemic. Will it increase even more as people return to the office?
David L. Vied is the Global Sector Leader for the Medical Devices and Diagnostics practice for Korn Ferry based in the Firm's Los Angeles office.
In his role he focuses on advising board of directors and senior operating executives on talent management and talent acquisition while conducting assignments for the medical devices and diagnostics industry. Previous successful assignments include multiple senior general management leadership roles, up to and including CEO and board directorships. In addition, David's work has also included key regulatory affairs, quality systems, research & development, and medical director assignments.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, he was the Managing Partner for the North American Life Sciences Practice for a global executive recruiting firm. His experience has also included search assignments in the consumer health and life sciences area. Before entering the executive search profession, he was Vice President of Administration with Medical Graphics Corporation, a developer and manufacturer of non-invasive cardiorespiratory diagnostic systems. Previously, he was Director of Operations and Planning, and then Director of Human Resources for St. Jude Medical Europe in Brussels.
Currently, he serves as a Director of Cyanotech Corporation (Nasdaq: CYAN), a developer and marketer of microalgae based nutritional supplements.
He received a B.A. degree in Communication Studies from California State University at Sacramento and a M.S. degree (cum laude) in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of North Texas.
