Dilum Jirasinghe

With 12 years in senior Corporate HR roles within FTSE 30 organisations and 18 years in consulting, Dilum brings a strong business perspective combined with genuine empathy for client challenges. She is known for building trusted C-suite relationships and for her pragmatic, outcomes-focused approach to client engagements.

Dilum’s expertise spans talent strategy; leadership effectiveness; CEO and C-suite succession; executive assessment and development; organisation development and cultural transformation; and top team effectiveness.

Her consulting work includes some of the most recognised global organisations across Financial Services, Industrial, FMCG, Retail, Technology and Pharma sectors.

Dilum was Global Head of Executive Talent at HSBC until April 2026, where she was responsible for talent and executive development for the Group Operating Committee and the top 100+ leaders. Her work strengthened the diversity and depth of the senior leadership bench and built a robust talent pipeline, with progress reported bi-annually to the Board. She previously led Regional Learning, Talent and D&I across the UK, Europe and Middle East.

Prior to HSBC, Dilum held the role of Global Head of Talent & Leadership at Vodafone, where she contributed to the Vodafone culture reset and purpose-led transformation. She has also held roles at Tesco and the Metropolitan Police Service.

Dilum holds a BSc (Honours) in Psychology and a PhD in Occupational Psychology. She has co-authored two books and several academic journal articles. She is a trained Executive Coach, accredited in Level A and B psychometrics, and holds a Certificate in Business Management.
