Emmanuel is a Client Partner focused in Retail & Consumer Goods Industries. Due to his regional experience, Mr. Herrera brings to the firm an extensive knowledge of the Latin American Market & Trends.
Emmanuel brings to Korn Ferry over 22 years of extensive experience throughout the consumer goods and retail industries. Early in his career, he developed solid commercial and logistic skills in retail while working in the corporate merchandising departments of Costco and K-Mart Mexico. He then continued his career in the consumer goods industry by joining Procter & Gamble Mexico. He contributed in different areas such as Key Accounts, Sales Operations, Whole Sale & Distributors , Trade Marketing and Market Strategy & Planning.
After ten years of P&G career, Mr. Herrera joined Diageo America's, where he continued in the commercial area within different markets such as Mexico, United States, Panama & Caribbean, Bermuda, Free Trade Zones and Travel Retail. Before joining Korn Ferry, Emmanuel led the Diageo Business in Costa Rica as country manager. During this assignment he successfully implemented SAP, repositioned the supply chain for the market and lead important community programs such as Learning for Life and Responsible Drinking.
Currently he is responsible for the retail practice and for Future Step business in the consumer goods practice.
Emmanuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration by ITESM-CEM (Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Campus Estado de Mexico) and has Marketing Diploma by Universidad Iberoamericana Campus Santa Fe, in Mexico City.
He is fluent in English and native in Spanish.
