Eric specializes in competitive benchmarking (executive and non-executives), external & internal appropriateness testing, compensation risk assessments and certainty equivalence analysis.
His expertise includes incentive design, translating company strategy into short- and long-term incentives and corporate governance: ISS analyses, stakeholder analyses, drafting of remuneration reports and preparation for the annual shareholder’s meeting.
Eric also specializes in the valuation of equity-based compensation, scenario modeling and simulation of remuneration results.
Eric has consulted with the majority of the AEX companies. He was the practice leader of executive compensation and a partner with another consulting firm.
Eric studied Finance at Tilburg University and obtained his Ph.D. degree. He is an author of multiple books, book chapters and articles on top management pay.
