Mr. Engesaeth has consulted with the majority of the AEX companies. He was the practice leader of executive compensation and a partner with another consulting firm.
Mr. Engesaeth specializes in competitive benchmarking (executive and non-executives), external & internal appropriateness testing, compensation risk assessments and certainty equivalence analysis.
His expertise include incentive design, translating company strategy into short- and long-term incentives and corporate governance: ISS analyses, stakeholder analyses, drafting of remuneration reports and preparation for the annual shareholder's meeting.
Mr. Engesaeth also specializes in the valuation of equity based compensation, scenario modelling and simulation of remuneration results.
Mr. Engesaeth studied Finance at Tilburg University, obtained his Ph.D. degree and is linked to TIAS School for Business and Society. He is a member of the Advisory Council of TiSEM. He is author of multiple books, book chapters and articles on top management pay.
