Ms. Kirtzman expertise includes global diversity strategies, diversity & inclusion assessments and training as well as cultural competencies. Ms. Kirtzman manages clients in a variety of industries, predominantly in the professional services, consumer goods and retail sectors. She has consulted and facilitated for such clients as PepsiCo, Johnson & Johnson, Newell Rubbermaid, Saatchi and Saatchi, McCann Worldgroup, MasterCard Worldwide, and Louis Vuitton.
Ms. Kirtzman also conducts needs analysis/corporate audits and facilitates focus groups. She applies her professional and personal experiences—spanning three cultures, three countries, and three religions— to provide insights into managing and leveraging cultural differences and global diversity matters.
Ms. Kirtzman is part of the facilitation team at Cornell University's Advanced Diversity Strategies workshop for experienced diversity practitioners and has presented at The Conference Board's Diversity Conferences in New York City and Chicago as well as at The Linkage Summit on Diversity.
Ms. Kirtzman started her career as the director of language and culture for YAR Communications, Inc., a global communications agency, where she was in charge of all linguistic and cultural analyses as well as brand name and corporate identity analyses in more than 100 languages. In this function she led a team of 25 experts and oversaw the development of global marketing and advertising strategies to target specific US and international markets.
Ms. Kirtzman was born and raised in Germany, has traveled extensively throughout Europe and holds a B.A. in Translation and Linguistics from the Fachhochschule KÓ§ln, Germany. She is fluent in German and English and conversant in French. Ms. Kirtzman is certified in the Hermann Brain Dominance Instrument (HBDI™), Leadership Architect, Voices 360, and viaEDGE.
