Gordon Bowen

Area Leader, Supply Chain & Operations COE

Gordon is an Area Leader for Korn Ferry in their Professional Search Supply Chain & Operations COE division. 

His focus is on sourcing leading manufacturing talent for top employers as well as overseeing a team of recruiters that cover the central and western parts of the United States with various needs in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Quality, EHS and more. By building strategic partnerships with his clients and candidates, he is able to make long-term matches that are grounded in mutual respect and trust.

Gordon enjoys having the ability to connect with individuals and align their interests and causes together. Gordon has made his mark at the firm by treating each placement as a unique opportunity to bridge together employers and candidates forming mutually-beneficial relationships. His competitive spirit is what drives him to find the best qualified candidate faster than the competition.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Gordon worked for the Houston Astros for two-and-a-half years. He rose very quickly within the company, becoming #2 in sales while also managing other initiatives and duties. In that time, he was able to win the monthly MVP award on eight different occasions.

Gordon holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Exercise Science - Sports Management from Rutgers University. In his spare time, he coaches a youth travel hockey team, the Houston Wild, who have won multiple state championships. Gordon loves investing his time in helping young hockey players the way that coaches helped him.
