Hilary Sargent is a Principal in Korn Ferry’s Chicago office and a core member of the Global Consumer Practice, specializing in travel, hospitality and leisure. In this role, she advises public, private, and private equity-backed organizations on the recruitment and assessment of senior executive talent.
Hilary focuses on the recruitment of C-suite executives and Board Directors across the hotel, restaurant, gaming, cruise, entertainment and broader leisure sectors. Her experience spans a broad range of functions, with particular emphasis on operations, marketing, finance, sales, general management, and development. She partners closely with clients to understand their business strategy, leadership needs, and organizational priorities and translates those requirements into targeted search strategies designed to identify and attract high-impact leaders.
Hilary brings a deep understanding of the travel, hospitality, and leisure landscape, having spent her career both within the industry and advising companies across the sector. Prior to executive search, she spent six years in the wine industry, gaining experience across the luxury consumer and hospitality landscape. She began her career in hospitality with Marriott International.
Ms. Sargent earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from the Fritz Knoebel School of Hospitality Management at the University of Denver.
