Hortense Bédier brings c. 15 years of experience working in the Private Equity eco-system both in France and abroad, working hand-in-hand with Private Equity clients and top Managers to build leadership teams both at fund level at within portfolio companies.
She is fully engaged while executing Private Equity mandates across EMEA at very high standards and is also involved in developing the Firm’s visibility.
She works closely with clients, recruiting both at GP level - investment professionals as well and functional talents (Operating Partners, IR, CFO, Senior Advisor etc.) - and at portfolio level, assisting in Chairman & CEO, CFO and Non-Executive Director’s appointments for private equity-backed companies.
She started in London as an Investment professional at Doughty Hanson, a large cap fund in London before joining the Investment team at Alpha Private Equity, a €1bn pan-European midcap fund in Paris.
She subsequently joined Deloitte - first the Transaction Services team then in the Restructuring department - where she stayed over 4 years, developing her network withing the broader Financial Services eco-system.
Before joining Korn Ferry, Hortense served as an Executive Search consultant at Segalen+associés in London, mainly dedicated to the recruitment at GP level across Europe, based in London.
Hortense is a graduate from Paris IX Dauphine University with a Major in Corporate Finance.
She is French native and fluent in English.
