Mr. Wierichs' work has spanned across many therapeutic areas including virology, oncology, respiratory, dermatology and ophthalmic areas.

Prior to joining the Firm, he served at another   leading executive search firm as senior partner,  where he specialized in recruiting senior-level executives in general management, senior human resources, and c suite level executives for life science organizations ranging from startups to multinational corporations. Earlier, he was a consultant at another global executive search firm, where his focus was in the same areas and where  he started a practice around consumer healthcare.

Before entering the search industry, Mr. Wierichs served as vice president of sales and marketing for Time Warner. He also held divisional and national sales management and marketing positions with ConAgra, RJR Nabisco, and Procter & Gamble.  Mr. Wierichs today serves as the Chief Representative for Korn Ferry at leading industry organizations NACDS and CHPA.

Mr. Wierichs formerly sat on the board of trustees of the Academy of Notre Dame de Namur in Villanova, Pennsylvania, as well as the Zicklin business school at Baruch College part of the CUNY system. He is an active member of the Union League Club of New York where he has served as past chair of the admissions committee as well as the public affairs committee, and he has been a past and now current member of the Board of Governors. He also serves as president of the non-profit TAPP Foundation. He is also active in working with charities for military veteran's organizations.

Mr. Wierichs is a graduate of St. John's University where he holds respective bachelor's degrees in American studies and theology.
