Kalen Stanton is a Senior Partner in healthcare at Korn Ferry, the end-to-end source and advisor for leaders and their talent across industries.

He serves as a strategic change partner to CEOs and C-Suite leaders in health care, where his focus is at the intersection of organizational design, CEO/C-Suite progression, alignment and capability, as well as activation of change and culture strategy. Kalen’s experience comes from guiding system-wide transformations in environments such as academic medicine, pediatrics, multispecialty medical groups, life sciences, and alternative delivery models. ​

Prior to Korn Ferry, Kalen served as Managing Partner for the healthcare division of Root, a part of Accenture, a leading global management consultancy where he led growth, strategy and delivery across the portfolio. He was also previously a consulting leader and architect for innovative partnership solutions at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, DC.​

Kalen is often called upon to speak about change and leadership for client boards, leader gatherings, and broader associations. He is a published author on strategy activation and leadership, including Enhanced Physician Engagement, Volume I, and The Lion and the Leopard. He also recently served as host of a national, executive collaborative In Light of Change for over 300 C-Suite leaders across the top organizations in healthcare that he founded in early 2020. ​

He serves on the boards of several not-for-profits including Global Connections and the foundation of AIC Kijabe Hospital in East Africa. Kalen lives with his wife (a clinician) and three adventurous children in Ottawa Hills, Ohio.​

Kalen received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management and his undergraduate degree from Furman University. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Health Care Strategy and Market Development.
