Kan Phongjaroenwit

Kan Phongjaroenwit is a Managing Consultant in the Consumer & Retail Practice at Korn Ferry, based in the Tokyo office. He specializes in executive and professional talent solutions across the consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, media & entertainment, and broader B2C industries throughout Japan and the Asia Pacific region.

With nearly two decades of experience in executive search and talent advisory, Kan has partnered with a diverse portfolio of clients—from high-growth startups to major Japanese conglomerates and global multinational corporations. His expertise spans strategic executive hiring, business unit leadership, and key functional roles, with a strong understanding across commercial, technical, and general management domains.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Kan was with a leading global retained executive search firm, where he played a pivotal role in building and transforming leadership teams across the consumer goods, retail, e-commerce, and professional services sectors.

Kan holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from the International University of Japan, where he was awarded the Matsushita International Foundation Scholarship, and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications from Schiller-Stamford International University in Thailand.

Outside of work, Kan is passionate about photography, cooking, and traveling— pursuits that continue to inspire his creativity and curiosity both personally and professionally.
