Mr. Igarashi has over three decades of intensive experience in the manufacturing industry providing industrial machinery and factory automation technologies to companies in diversified manufacturing sectors including automobile, printing, packaging, food, semi-conductor, chemical, and steel. His experience of overseas assignment and general management allow him to understand the business challenges companies face.

Before Korn Ferry, Mr. Igarashi was with another global executive search firm where he specialized in C-level searches in the industrial practice.

Prior to executive search, Mr. Igarashi was the Country Manager in Japan for a NASDAQ company in the factory automation field headquartered in Chicago, where he later served as the regional head of Asia Pacific. During his 10 years tenure, he has built strong relationship with key players in manufacturing sectors and expertise in the industry.

Mr. Igarashi started his career in industry machinery business with Tomen, one of Japan's major trading firms. During his tenure, he has experienced oversea assignments in Los Angeles, Chicago, and Denver.

Mr. Igarashi holds a bachelor's degree in law from Keio University.
