Matthias works primarily with clients in the manufacturing, digitalization, and internet of things area for established and start-up companies in the building products space as well as in the electronics, robotics, high tech, automation, and sensors sectors.

Matthias has successfully completed a range of international and local Group CEO, COO, CIO, CTO, Data & AI & CDO search mandates.

Prior to joining the Zurich office, Matthias worked for Korn Ferry Dubai (UAE) where he led the execution of international C-suite mandates for the civil aviation, aerospace and defense, and transportation practices with a strong focus on digital transformation, big data, data analytics, and e-commerce.

Previously, Matthias was a senior consultant in a leading global recruiting company where he was responsible for the co-establishment of the legal and compliance practice in Zurich.

Matthias earned a master's degree in Swiss law from the University of Fribourg, Switzerland and an LL.M in international, European, and maritime law from the University of Hamburg, Germany.

He speaks fluent German, English, and French.
