Patrick Maeder

Patrick Maeder leads Korn Ferry’s consulting business for the Financial Services Industry, partnering with Banks, Insurers, Asset Managers and Real Estate companies to translate strategy into measurable business performance.

He works across Korn Ferry’s global teams to drive strategic transformation through organizational design, talent acquisition, leadership assessment and development, succession planning, and aligning reward and benefits strategies with performance objectives. Patrick is known for helping clients build future-ready organizations by connecting people strategy with business impact.

Patrick’s experience spans advising Boards and C-level executives across global Financial Services companies, national champions, and high-growth fintechs in North America, Europe, and Asia.

He supports leaders in shaping and executing growth and organizational strategies, driving leadership development and executive coaching, guiding cultural and digital transformations, and delivering board advisory, restructuring, and M&A services. His work is grounded in deep industry insight and a commitment to enabling sustainable performance through people.

Patrick is a guest lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he teaches on innovation, emerging business models, and leadership in programs such as the CAS Digital Insurance and the MBA in Financial Services.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen, along with postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Corporate Governance from the Yale School of Management, Loyola University, and the University of St. Gallen.
Patrick is fluent in German and English, and also speaks French.
