Patrick Maeder is Managing Partner and Global Growth & Markets Leader at Korn Ferry Consulting in Zurich. With over 25 years of experience, Patrick advises Boards and senior executives on organizational, people, and talent strategies to drive competitive advantage.

Previously, he led Korn Ferry’s Financial Services Consulting globally and in EMEA for five years before stepping into his current role as global Growth & Markets Leader.

Patrick is a guest lecturer at the University of St. Gallen (HSG), where he teaches on innovation, emerging business models, and leadership in programs such as the CAS Digital Insurance and the MBA in Financial Services.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Patrick has worked for leading consulting firms such as PwC and BearingPoint as member of the management board and in practice leadership roles. 

Patrick’s experience spans advising Boards and C-level executives across global institutions, national champions, and high-growth Start ups in North America, Europe, and Asia. 

He supports leaders in shaping and executing growth and organizational strategies, driving leadership development and executive coaching, guiding cultural and digital transformations, and delivering board advisory, restructuring, and M&A services. His work is grounded in deep people, leadership and industry insight and a commitment to enabling sustainable performance through people.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in St. Gallen, along with postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Corporate Governance from the Yale School of Management, Loyola University, and the University of St. Gallen.

Patrick is fluent in German and English, and also speaks French.
