Raffi Toughlouian

Raffi brings over 20 years of leadership, sales and recruitment experience to Korn Ferry having placed thousands of candidates into mid-to-senior level Finance & Accounting roles. Operating across North America, his recent search work focuses on emerging leaders from the director level on up, spanning global and multi-unit manufacturing, industrial, private equity and corporate carve-outs, publicly traded, global organizations, privately held or family businesses, entertainment, media, pre-IPO businesses, fleet leasing, aviation and aerospace, as well as professional services firms.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Raffi worked as a Sr. Recruitment Partner with a Global 500 bank. Before that, he spent 5+ years as Vice President with a North American recruitment and consulting firm. In this role he had responsibility for multiple sales and recruitment teams, as well as delivery of vendor managed service programs for 7 global, Fortune 500 organizations. Raffi also spent 13 years with a specialized global recruitment firm, overseeing the Canadian flagship office in downtown Toronto.

As a result of his professional work, Raffi has earned a reputation as a “trusted market expert” having conducted multiple media appearances as well as having his opinion sought for numerous publications.

Raffi often presents to the students and membership of the CPA and other global designations on various topics. He conducts presentations and coaching seminars on resume writing, interview skills, job searching and networking, for students and new immigrants, from various local universities, colleges and not-for-profit outreach programs.

Raffi holds a BCOMM from Ryerson University, specializing in Enterprise Management & Development and minoring in Law. He also has a Diploma, with Honors, in Business Administration, from Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology.
