Mr. Thames brings more than 30 years experience in executive management, program and organizational consulting, executive and professional search, coaching, career management, business growth and development. He has led and managed teams in a variety of roles along with +$20M profit and loss responsibilities.
In his role, Mr. Thames serves as an advisor to executive leaders, boards, executives, management teams and committees in the development of organizational and talent strategies and success factors.
Mr. Thames also serves as an executive coach and trusted advisor to c-suite executives and emerging leaders across industries within global organizations.
Mr. Thames serves as Korn Ferry Executive Advisor for the firm’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Healthcare Practice and co-chair of the Korn Ferry Washington DC steering committee and Korn Ferry Colleague Advisory Council.
Mr. Thames leads Korn Ferry portfolio client teams across all Korn Ferry solution – Board and CEO services, Executive Search, Advisory Consulting, Digital and AI solutions.
Mr. Thames serves as an adjunct instructor, coach and advisor at Johns Hopkins Carey School Executive Education. He is also Founder of Inspirit Institute, LLC a personal and professional development organization and Associate Pastor, Celebration Church.
Mr. Thames, a licensed and certified Pastor and Minister, is a national speaker and thought leader who often serves as a keynote, guest lecturer, facilitator and panelist for several corporate events, higher-ed (university), associations, churches and professional groups.
Mr. Thames has authored several national articles on organizational and talent effectiveness, diversity equity & inclusion, personal goal setting and leadership development.
Mr. Thames as serves as a board member, business resource group leader, committee and community leader for several corporate, and community organizations including Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., People’s Community Church and Celebration Church in Columbia.
