Mr. Thames also serves as the Executive Advisor for the firm’s Diversity Equity and Inclusion Healthcare Practice.
In his role, Mr. Thames serves as an advisor to boards, executives, and management teams in the development of organizational and talent strategies and success factors. Mr. Thames also serves as an executive coach and trusted advisor to c-suite executives and emerging leaders across industries within global organizations.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Thames served as a Partner who managed Portfolio Clients & Consulting Teams with another global professional services firm.
Mr. Thames brings more than 30 years experience in executive management, program and organizational consulting, executive and professional search, coaching, career management, business growth and development. He has led and managed teams and workstreams in a variety of roles along with P&L responsibilities.
Mr. Thames is a national speaker and thought leader who often serves as a keynote, guest lecturer and panelist for several corporate events, higher-ed (university), associations and professional groups.
Mr. Thames has authored several national articles on organizational and talent effectiveness, diversity equity & inclusion and leadership development.
Mr. Thames as serves as a board member, business resource group leader, committee and community leader for several corporate, and community organizations including Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., People’s Community Church hand Celebration Church in Columbia.
Mr. Thames earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Psychology from University of Pittsburgh along with John Hopkins Carey School for Executive Health Care Leadership & Management and JHU Design Thinking Certification. Mr. Thames is an ICF Certified Executive Coach, HCI Certified Human Capital Strategist, Life & Health/Property & Casualty Certified and Leadership Management Certified. Mr. Thames also serves as an active Licensed and Ordained Pastor.
