Ranga Chinongoza

As an orchestrator across Korn Ferry, Ranga works closely with clients to understand their strategy, ambitions and most complex challenges, then connects the right expertise and solutions to help them move forward. He believes talent is a critical driver of value creation and that lasting business performance comes from aligning leadership, organization, capabilities and culture with enterprise strategy.

Ranga is known for a collaborative, practical and outcomes-focused approach. He builds trusted relationships, convenes diverse perspectives and mobilizes teams around a shared client agenda. He is committed to the “We are Korn Ferry” spirit, working across boundaries to bring clients the best thinking, capabilities and people from across the firm.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Ranga spent 20 years at a Big 4 firm, most recently as a Managing Director focused on private equity portfolio companies. He built relationships with private equity operating partners and portfolio company executives, expanded the firm’s work across their portfolio companies and led teams that helped clients turn investment plans into practical action and measurable results.

Ranga worked with clients across the full deal lifecycle, from diligence and the first priorities following an acquisition through growth, operational improvement, integration and exit readiness. This experience gave him a practical understanding of how value is created within a business, including increasing revenue, improving costs and cash flow, strengthening finance and operations, enabling technology, and preparing companies for exit.

Earlier in his career, Ranga held leadership roles in consulting and assurance, serving public and private companies across technology, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing and financial services.

Ranga holds a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Carroll University.
