Rich O’Neill is a Managing Consultant within Korn Ferry Professional Search, focused on Financial Services clients across North America. Based in the Northeast, he partners with banks, insurance companies, fintechs, and diversified financial institutions to recruit senior-level leaders across risk, compliance, legal, operations, technology, and corporate functions. 

Rich is known for building trusted, long-term partnerships and operating as an extension of client leadership teams. He delivers tailored hiring strategies aligned to regulatory demands, operating-model transformation, and evolving business priorities, helping organizations drive growth and resilience.

Prior to Korn Ferry, Rich spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles within the professional services and advisory space. He led global enterprise relationships with large financial institutions, advising executive stakeholders on workforce planning and integrated talent solutions across permanent, contingent, and advisory models, supporting initiatives in risk, compliance, data governance, legal operations, and technology modernization.

Earlier in his career, Rich began at BNY Mellon in the Alternative Investment Services division, where he spent three years building a strong foundation in institutional investment operations and regulated financial services.

Rich attended the United States Naval Academy and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Jacksonville University.
