At Korn Ferry, Robert focuses on providing the firm’s clients with strategic executive advice in order to help maximize client value creation opportunities and objectives, drawing on his experiences on the client, hiring and management side of the executive recruiting process.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Robert was a Vice President on the Software & Technology investment team at Waud Capital Partners, a software & technology and healthcare focused middle-market private equity firm that prioritizes backing exceptional executive leaders and partners with them on campaigns to find, acquire, build and lead new investment platform companies. Robert brings over 6 years of experience as a private equity professional, having led numerous talent searches, evaluating, and recruiting C-Suite executives and other key employees which were the basis for the value creation journey of the portfolio companies and investments for which he was principally responsible.
In addition to his executive evaluation and recruiting responsibilities at Waud Capital Partners, Robert was also responsible for supporting all aspects of the investment/deal process, from deal origination and due diligence, through deal structuring and post-investment portfolio management, where he partnered closely with his portfolio company management teams and board members to manage investments across software & technology and healthcare subsectors, and ultimately to successful investment exits. During his time at Waud Capital Partners, Robert also co-led investment associate recruiting, onboarding and training. Prior to joining Waud Capital Partners, Robert was an investment banker in the Mergers and Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse in New York.
Robert holds a BA in Economics with General Honors from the University of Chicago, where he was a member of the varsity baseball team. Robert has also represented the United States multiple times at the World Maccabiah Games in Israel, winning both Gold and Bronze medals.
