Global Account Leader

Samir Fostock is a Global Account Leader delivering integrated Korn Ferry solutions to key clients in the EMEA region with focus on Saudi Arabia. A serial entrepreneur and business advisor, he brings cross-functional experience from diverse industries to add value to client relationships.

While founding more than 15 companies on three continents, Samir has become particularly adept in formulating effective and executable business strategies. Combined with experience from various roles held at multinational companies, he has a demonstrated capacity to lead both within complex corporate structures as well as in start-up environments.

Through his +25-year career Samir has primarily been engaged in Saudi Arabia, of which he is a national, and Sweden, where he was born. He has been active in the Biotech, Defence, Education, Music, Professional Services, Publishing, Software and VC industries.

Before joining Korn Ferry, Samir was Head of Diagnostics at a Swedish biotech tools company he co-founded in 2002 and later advised through both an MBO and IPO. After a 12-year operational hiatus, he re-joined the company in 2020 to build a new business unit to provide better diagnostic tools in response to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Prior to this endeavor, Samir was active in Saudi Arabia for 10 years, first as Senior Advisor to the world's largest private education company, followed by roles at a leading US defense contractor and their Saudi JV. While in Saudi, he was an elected executive committee member of the Saudi-Swedish Joint Business Council where he led the sub-committee for Education & Training.

Samir is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Business with a degree in International Management. He is an avid golfer and fan of thoroughbred racing.
