Sasha Savic has joined Korn Ferry as a Sector Leader in Zürich with the focus on growing and developing the Professional Search business within the Financial Services practice EMEA.
Sasha has over 20 years’ work experience, racked up across the subjects of finance, technology, investment management, talent acquisition and leadership. Most recently Sasha worked as a Partner in an Executive Search boutique where he has strengthened and further developed industry practices such as Wealth and Asset Management, Fintech and Corporate Functions across Switzerland, the UK and Germany. Additionally, he successfully co-founded and led a HR-Tech Start-Up, being a digital matching platform for organisations searching Corporate and Advisory Board members and for individuals, looking to share their expertise and develop through holding board positions.
Prior to that, Sasha had worked for one of the largest and most advanced, global wealth managers, where he held a number of senior roles across different functions and areas of the bank. Initially responsible for finance and controlling for the Latin American market, he soon moved into client-facing and market head roles, with responsibility for revenues and key strategic objectives. His broad experience, and strong knowledge of the region led to his move to become Chief of Staff for the entire LATAM area, before moving into the bank’s Change organisation, responsible for driving strategic transformational projects.
Sasha has a dual Master in Finance and Wealth Management from the Universities of Bern and Rochester/NY, and a degree from the University of Furtwangen in Finance and Controlling. He is a guest lecturer at HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration in Zürich with the focus on Future of Work and acts as an Expert for the Future Finance Institute Switzerland. Sasha’s native languages are German and Croatian, speaks English and Portuguese fluently and some basic Spanish.
