Shane Quarry

Mr. Quarry has significant experience within the key market sectors of FMCG and Retail, having begun his career working in Account Management, Brand and Product roles for a number of retail groups including Levi’s ®, Rivers Australia and The Colorado Group.

In the mid-2000s, Mr. Quarry transitioned into recruitment and expanded his capabilities, leading talent and sourcing functions within organisations such as Walmart Asia where he established the Executive Recruitment function in Walmart China and on his return to Australia with Woolworths.

He also spent six years with Hays Executive including three years based in Hong Kong setting up the Sales and Marketing function working with global clients including Unilever, Proctor & Gamble, GSK, Tesco and Walmart.

In the past ten years at Korn Ferry, he has worked closely with Wesfarmers, Coles, Accor, Nestle, JDE, BAT, Unilever, Costa Group, Blackstone, Bain Capital and Virgin Australia on local, regional and Global Talent Projects.

In the past two years he has been part of the team working closely with the Brisbane 2032 Olympics and Paralympics organisation building the executive leadership team.

Mr. Quarry holds a Diploma in International Trade from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT).
