She focuses on recruiting senior level professionals across several functional areas, including capital raising, investing, deal origination, operating, legal, and C-suite.
Shelby has significant experience working across the spectrum of illiquid investment strategies including Private Equity, Private Credit, Hybrid Capital, Secondaries, Infrastructure, Growth Equity, Venture Capital, and GP Stakes among others.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Shelby worked at a boutique search firm in New York, where she focused on recruiting professionals across front, middle, and back office functions. She primarily serviced financial services organizations, with an emphasis on investment banking and private equity funds. Shelby also recruited accounting and finance professionals for portfolio companies across healthcare, consumer, tech, government, and pharmaceuticals, among other industries.
Shelby earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting & Information Systems from the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison.
