Sjoerd leads the Technology Team and is deeply experienced in leadership development, organizational strategy and account management.
He works across the firm to shape and deliver integrated solutions for some of our largest High-tech and Financial Services clients, bringing together expertise from across practices to meet each client’s unique context.
Before joining the Korn Ferry, Sjoerd studied at Utrecht University and the University of Oxford. Alongside his academic pursuits, he competed as a professional athlete and represented the Netherlands at the Olympic Games. This background instilled in him a high-performance mindset, discipline, and a deep appreciation for diverse, multicultural teams.
Within Korn Ferry, Sjoerd has gained broad experience supporting and growing major accounts, leading complex technology-enabled deliveries, and advising senior leaders on organizational and leadership challenges. Known for his ability to combine strategic thinking with execution, he quickly builds trusted relationships and develops a sharp understanding of client-specific dynamics. His passion lies in helping organizations unlock performance through strong leadership, clarity of purpose, and well-designed structures.
Despite his strong technology focus, Sjoerd’s true motivation comes from people. He thrives in environments where collaboration, curiosity, and continuous development are central, and he brings this energy into every client engagement and team he leads.
