Mr. Giella has conducted over 1,000 senior-level assignments in the healthcare services industry working primarily for not-for-profit healthcare companies in the areas of integrated delivery systems, community teaching hospitals, health insurance companies, health/medical associations, academic health centers and other health services delivery companies.

Mr. Giella specializes in C-suite placements (specifically CEO, COO, CFO, CMO, CHRO, and CIO assignments). Over his career at Korn Ferry, he has successfully completed over 100 CEO assignments working closely with Boards of Directors and Search Committees. 

Before his executive search career, Mr. Giella worked as a corporate bond analyst in New York for Drexel Burnham Lambert. Prior to this, he was a teacher and coach at Avon Old Farm School in Avon, Connecticut where he taught mathematics and history and coached football, wrestling and track. 

Mr. Giella is actively involved in Scottsdale Institute and is a board member of Health Insights and the Yale Football Association.

Mr. Giella holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in American History from Yale University.
