TJ Choquette is a Managing Consultant specializing in Finance, Accounting, Strategy/M&A, Audit, and Tax search on the East Coast.

TJ has over nine years of experience with Korn Ferry and Lucas Group, a boutique search firm now apart of Korn Ferry's Professional Search group. He is a part of a 20-person national team focusing on Finance & Accounting search from small-cap CFOs to direct reports to the CFO (VP Tax, Corporate Controller, VP FP&A, etc) and the build outs of their groups within large public, and PE and privately owned companies of all sizes.

TJ has made successful placements with various industries from manufacturing, CPG/packaging, industrial services, retail, franchising/restaurants, distribution, sports/events, as well as insurance and tech.

Analytical by nature, TJ enjoys learning what a client is looking for and finding ways to quantify those needs and find the ideal professional for the position. He develops strong relationships with all parties, is always transparent throughout the process and is not afraid to have difficult conversations, resulting in long-term placements & partnerships.

Prior to his time with Korn Ferry, TJ was a freelance percussion and music educator and still runs one of the top competitive drumlines in the world, Atlanta Quest. From November through April he leads a staff of 30+ volunteer educators teaching a group of college percussionists who come to Atlanta from all over the Southeast U.S.

TJ holds a business degree from the University of Georgia and a huge Dawgs fan.
