With nearly two decades of experience in executive recruitment, Carsten has successfully placed leaders in a variety of industries including banking, asset management, and insurance. He has also established a solid track record in conducting searches that bridge the gap between financial services and technology.

In addition, Carsten provides advisory services to government organizations and regulatory bodies on the recruitment of top-level executives such as chief executives, permanent secretaries, and director generals.

Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Carsten worked as a Partner at a global search firm and an international search boutique. He began his career with Korn Ferry as an Associate after working as a Researcher at Korn Ferry Futurestep during his studies.

Carsten holds a B.A. in Economics from Wiesbaden Business School and is a certified banker („Bankkaufmann“).

He is fluent in both English and German.
