Senior Client Partner, UK & EMEA Real Estate Practice

Charlie Barton leads the firm's UK & EMEA Real Estate business, working with private equity, investment management, sovereign wealth, pension plan, public and private owner-operator-developer, real estate investment trust, and advisory firms. 

He has deep sector knowledge gained over 20 years and is a trusted confidante to clients and candidates alike. He has extensive experience advising clients on C-suite succession and team builds for numerous investment platforms, property companies and advisory firms.

His expertise runs across all real estate asset classes including hospitality and datacenters, in both debt and equity and across the risk return spectrum. 

Prior to Korn Ferry, Charlie led the European business of a boutique global real estate executive search firm where he also held regional responsibility for hospitality and infrastructure sectors across Europe.

Previously, he founded and led his own executive search firm and before that spent a decade at a leading advisory firm covering European CFO mandates and leading the UK real estate business.

Charlie studied Valuation & Estate Management at the University Of West Of England.
